Objectives of the Study:
Principal Objectives:
(1) Assess the mental and psychological health impact of the COVID-19 pandemic in Spain, among healthcare workers, COVID-19 patients and close contacts in isolation or quarantine and the general adult population.
(2) Identify risk and protective factors for adverse mental health occurrence and persistence.
(3) Quantify the use of available mental health resources.
(4) Quantify and characterise unmet mental health needs.
Secondary Objectives:
(1) Assess the potential benefit of using available mental health resources.
(2) Provide a baseline for understanding the impact on mental and psychological health related to COVID-19 over time in Spain.
More about this Study:
Scientific Context: The MINDCOVID project aims to study the mental health of healthcare workers, as well as COVID-19 patients (and their close contacts) and a sample of the general adult Spanish population. All of them are vulnerable to the foreseeable psychological impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
MINDCOVID focuses its research on providing a comprehensive assessment of the impact of the current COVID-19 pandemic on the mental health of the Spanish population.
